UNISAL El Salvador and the Centro de Formación Profesional de Obra Salesiana have signed an important cooperation agreement to develop programs and projects with a social focus in El Salvador. Both institutions share the goal of providing support to young Salvadoran entrepreneurs, giving them the opportunity to show and market their products abroad. Through the project “Un Pedacito de El Salvador,” the products made by these young people will be promoted at Latin American cultural festivals in the United States, organized by UNISAL.
This project aims to promote young entrepreneurs in vulnerable situations, helping them improve their quality of life and contribute to sustainable changes in their communities, while promoting their cultural identity. This year, six outstanding ventures have been selected, including religious articles, personalized resin keychains, handmade jewelry, wooden figures, wallets, and paintings, all carefully and creatively made by Salvadoran hands.
